Why custom? Because you have your own style!  Some brides have the budget for a couture gown. Not you? That’s okay. We’ve got you covered.

How custom? That’s up to you.

D.I.Y.

Many brides choose a veil plus a fascinator, and creating your ideal combo is the simplest form of customization. Who knows? You might just be the first to pair a particular veil and fascinator.

IF ONLY

Then there are “if only” brides: there’s a piece that would be perfect if only…there were crystals instead of pearls….the flowers were different…the netting had dots…  There’s no extra charge for a simple change, a nominal one ($10-20) if we add something, so there’s no reason to hesitate or compromise.  Just allow an extra two weeks.

COULD YOU…?

Of course we can! See something that isn’t quite what you want but inspires you? The next level of customization involves taking an existing piece and completely changing an element or two, such as swapping out feathers for a big bow or adding a veil directly onto a fascinator. Changes like this run $20-50 and will add up to two weeks.

JUST FOR ME

This is where the fun begins.  Here are some examples–we bet you’ve got your own ideas.

This bride wanted to echo the colors in her groom’s kilt. We incorporated  blue lace and burgundy feathers and netting. Hardly traditional, decidedly bridal.

Color is a wonderful addition to your bridal ensemble.  We can hand-tint flowers to match any detail of your dress or your bridesmaids’. The ones shown at left are about 3-4 inches in diameter and can be worn in the hair, with a veil, on a choker or pinned at the waist.

You know what else is really great? Colored birdcage veils! We can do over 30 colors, most with or without chenille dots.

Another very favorite idea of our is to take a family heirloom and make it your Something Old. Here, a grandmother’s exquisite lace hanky is incorporated into a fascinator. We hand sew these pieces with large stitches in contrasting thread, invisible when worn, easy to snip if you choose to remove the heirloom later.  How about a brooch, a bit of your mother’s bridal veil or a bow from her dress?
