M.M.mmmmmmmmmmmm

What happens when our designers spend a Saturday afternoon watching Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the movie where   Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell have a double wedding, wearing identical dresses and little veiled hats? Well…this! A modern take on a retro hat with a wee tulle veil and a voluptuous handmade chiffon rose with a pearly center. The hat itself is covered in pleated ivory satin, very much in keeping with current bridal gown fashion, but equally at home with a vintage look.     $100

White flame hat

**NEW DESIGN**

(Sometimes we’re so in love with a new design that we just can’t wait for a photoshoot with a real model.)

So have you noticed? Some of the most modern styles have a retro vibe, like this frothy little bridal hat that balances an up-to-date look with a romantic, vintage feel. It features a handmade flower of satin, lace, organdy and pearly details perched atop a small hat of ivory lace over white satin. We’re happy to do all ivory, all white, or any other colors that strike your fancy.

$100

Do I!

**NEW DESIGN**

A very sweet bride with a teensy little rebellious streak asked us if we could put black dots on white netting. Boy, could we! We balanced those chenille dots with a pouf of black marabou and a retro button on this white feather hat. We’ve seen it paired nicely with non-bridal styles, too, from an LBD to jeans and a white shirt. Attaches with a comb so you can dance the night away.

$80

Very Cherry

How about this black lace fascinator with cherries for our rockabilly babies?  A sturdy plastic comb helps this small hat defy gravity. You know just what to wear it with, don’t you?

As shown, $40. With red or black netting, $50

Birdcage

Birdcage veils are the current look of choice for movie stars both on and off the screen. (Is Sweet Home Alabama stuck in your head now, too?) The options are endless. Here it’s worn with fascinator, but it can go solo, too. The fluffy white feathered hat shown above can perch atop the ‘cage. The veil can have chenille dots. Or be another color. This chic style works well with narrow silhouettes, including wedding suits, and is great for the short-haired woman or the older bride who might feel silly in a flowing veil but still wants the world to know she’s getting married.

As shown: Veil, $60

Fascinator: $ 40
