Just a sip

She’s just popping in for a teensy little nightcap. Is it her fault heads turn, conversations cease, and the bartender forgets what he’s pouring? Well…yeah, kind of. She knew this sexy little hat of cognac-colored satin with its jagged veil was a hearts-stopper when she put it on.  Oh, she knew.

There’s so much going on here, all of it hot: satin hat edged in black ribbon, matching handmade flower with a center of smoky Swarovski crystals, mysterious little veil. It all attaches securely with a comb and a tiny bit of Velcro, just to make sure it behaves…even if you don’t.

Don’t rule it out for a bride. We could even make you a matching sash for your gown.

Where are you going with that flower in your hair, girl? Salsa dancing? Wedding on the beach? Outdoor concert? Wherever you go, eyes will follow.

A comment on this site suggested that we make a patterned flower. Why not? This one is black chiffon with white and metallic gold dots, with a beaded center detail–light and sheer for summertime, with just a speck of glitz for evening. As always, it comes with a hair clip and a brooch pin.  When you wear it, you’ll appreciate our trick of making these flowers with the bottom layer curved to hug your head…or shoulder, or wherever you might pin a thing of such beauty.
