We admit it, we’ve become obsessed with these handmade flowers. This one is a spectacular deep blue organdy that looks black from certain angles. Don’t rule it out for a bride: midnight is the new “something blue” and we’re getting requests for navy blue birdcage veils, too. (Yes, we do them!)
These flowers come with a clip for the hair and a brooch pin. They make great bridemaids’ gifts. How about letting your ‘maids decide for themselves which way to wear them–in their hair, on their shoulder, at the waist, or…? Email orders@overthetopfascinators.com for a special price when you order 3 or more.
Not just for weddings, these flower are fabulous with salsa and ballroom dance attire, prom dresses, and …?

Fresh and flirty, this baby-blue birdcage is so soft and light, you’ll hardly know it’s there. And adding a bit of color to your ensemble is a trend almost as hot as birdcage veils this year.
Shown here tilted into a wedge, this pale veil satisfies both the Something New and Something Blue requirements. Our bride added a beaded brooch, her own Something Old (and possibly borrowed). Two clear combs keep it secure.
Available in more than 30 colors, most with or without chenille dots. Dots of a different color may be hand-placed. Contact us at orders@overthetopfascinators.com for special orders.
As shown (veil only): $60

You don’t have to get married on the beach to wear this birdcage veil, but it does seem like a match made in heaven, doesn’t it? The wide-gauge netting is stiff enough to hold up to a strong breeze, a good choice for an outdoor wedding. The silk flowers are hand-sewn onto the veil, not a separate comb, allowing them to float further forward on the face. The birdcage itself is secured by two combs.
Off the beach, this veil is suddenly chic, especially with the hair in a severe bun.

It was just supposed to be a relaxing vacation of sand and surf, but when mainland girl meets island boy…well, you know what crashing waves symbolize in the movies, don’t you? And so they were wed, orchids in her hair and toes in the sand. This sweet and simple piece features to dead ringers for fresh orchids, gracefully pairing with everything from a bikini to a bridal gown.
Please specify comb or clip.

There is no doubt she’s a bride, but this easy-to-wear headpiece isn’t going to cramp her style. Organdy stephanotis with pearl centers adorn an oversize netting bow, all hand-stitched to a satin headband. How about a scaled-down version matched to the colors of the attendants’ dresses?

Birdcage veils are the current look of choice for movie stars both on and off the screen. (Is Sweet Home Alabama stuck in your head now, too?) The options are endless. Here it’s worn with fascinator, but it can go solo, too. The fluffy white feathered hat shown above can perch atop the ‘cage. The veil can have chenille dots. Or be another color. This chic style works well with narrow silhouettes, including wedding suits, and is great for the short-haired woman or the older bride who might feel silly in a flowing veil but still wants the world to know she’s getting married.
