**NEW DESIGN** Where are you going with that flower in your hair, girl? Salsa dancing? Wedding on the beach? Outdoor concert? Wherever you go, eyes will follow.
A comment on this site suggested that we make a patterned flower. Why not? This one is black chiffon with white and metallic gold dots, with a beaded center detail–light and sheer for summertime, with just a speck of glitz for evening. As always, it comes with a hair clip and a brooch pin. When you wear it, you’ll appreciate our trick of making these flowers with the bottom layer curved to hug your head…or shoulder, or wherever you might pin a thing of such beauty.

All that matters is the sun, the lake, and how incredibly hot she looks. Her fascinator is made of grassy green feathers and paper flowers with a sweet vintage feel. Tucked into the most casual of ‘dos, it turns the simplest sundress into an ensemble that could go straight to dinner and dancing. Or just sit right here. Mmmmmm…………

Fashion Week Ventura chose a green/recycled theme, inspiring a fascinator made of things destined for the landfill. The veil is a mesh bag that onions came in, and the flower is made from fabric trimmed off a curtain that was too long. The center of the flower comes from Granny’s button box. And the feathers, well, those were formerly worn by birds.

A mini version of Onion Top. It’s kind of punky with the frayed onion-bag netting; a version with millinery netting could be more refined, if you prefer. This one comes on a small barrette, perfect to pop into your ‘do wherever it looks best. Works great with jeans… shown here with a bridesmaid’s dress. What would you pair it with? What wouldn’t you?
